Miriam Haag reinforces the management of ATP architects engineers in Munich.
The architects Michaela Hauser and Miriam Haag have been jointly heading the 80-strong-team at ATP’s studio in Munich’s Seidlstraße since the turn of the year. The new Managing Director Miriam Haag is particularly responsible for the areas of structural, HVAC, and electrical engineering, tender documentation, and site supervision as well as internal project management.
The internationally experienced manager has 20 years’ experience of architecture, consulting and management. “Miriam Haag is a successful leader who also helps us to meet our objective of having more women in our top team”, said ATP CEO Christoph M. Achammer, welcoming the new member of the top management team.
Miriam Haag has German and Brazilian roots, grew up in Germany and enjoyed an international university education. After studying architecture at Manchester, Lausanne, and Zurich she enhanced this academic profile even further by studying management in Madrid. The career of the mother of two children has taken her to Spain and South America and, now, back to Germany.
She has a very forward-looking approach to her new responsibility. Together with Michaela Hauser she wants to ensure that ATP continues to have a state-of-the-art organizational structure while producing buildings of unparalleled quality. “My objective is to ensure that integrated design is understood as a privilege – by both clients and employees. For where else are knowledge and expertise bundled together within a multidisciplinary project team in such a positive way?” says the new Managing Director.
