The architect and urban planner leads ATP’s international design team in Kurfürstenstraße.

Berlin, 1st January 2019 – the experienced architect and urban planning specialist Niklas Veelken has taken the helm at ATP's growing office in the German capital.

"Due to the dynamic level of development in the Berlin Region and right across Northern Germany we continue to see great opportunities for the growth of integrated design", says the new Managing Director. "Many competitors still work in traditional planning structures and are not properly prepared to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the digitalization of construction processes and BIM. Thanks to the edge given to us by our project experience and know-how in this area we effectively have a USP. With our core competence of BIM-based integrated design we are thus able to react to our clients' increased need for quality and certainty."

The architect, who trained at TU Braunschweig and the Berlage Center of Advanced Studies in Architecture and Urban Design, worked with a number of offices including gmp Architekten, Baumschlager Eberle and David Chipperfield, before joining ATP in 2018. His references include major international projects such as stadia, high-rise buildings, hospitals and residential projects in Germany, China, France and Belgium.
