The Viennese construction engineer and BIM expert Harald Stieber, MSc., joined ATP Frankfurt’s two-person management team in September 2019. The experienced manager will now run the 70-strong team in the Offenbach-based architecture and engineering office alongside Solveig Hillebrecht.
Harald Stieber has taken over the role of Managing Director/Architecture from the Offenbach architect Ulf Bambach, who has gone freelance after ten years as ATP’s partner in Frankfurt. The cooperative integrated design culture that is practiced by all of ATP’s integrated design offices in Europe was decisively influenced by Bambach at ATP Frankfurt.
“I like the way in which all disciplines really plan buildings at ATP together in a spirit of professional cooperation – from the first idea to the execution and even beyond,” says Harald Stieber, explaining his choice of a career at ATP. “I am impressed by the rigorous and structured design process that demands clear objectives from the very start and then pursues these with great efficiency.”
Harald Stieber studied “Civil Engineering and Construction Management” at the University of Applied Sciences in Vienna (2002). During 13 years with VAMED, Vienna, he played a leading role in the general planning and implementation of a number of international clinics. In 2011, he enhanced his academic profile by completing a master’s degree in “Health Care Management” at Danube University Krems. Between 2015 and 2017 he then worked in the area of business development for the construction company PORR, Vienna, where he was responsible for developing activities in the healthcare field. Before joining the top management team of ATP Frankfurt, Stieber was on the board of Nickl & Partner Architekten in Munich.
Stieber’s broad construction industry experience puts him in an ideal position to decisively contribute to ATP Frankfurt’s growth. “I aim to lead the Frankfurt office alongside my colleague Solveig Hillebrecht in such a way that the team will continue to design with integrated enthusiasm for equally enthusiastic clients,” said the new Managing Director.
