ÖGNI Crystal and DGNB Platinum ATP sustain’s new office receives multiple awards ATP sustain is marking the end of the year with a celebration. Its new state-of-the-art and self-designed office in Vienna has become the first to be certified with the new use profile “New building for interiors (NIR20)” and has been awarded DGNB Platinum certification. In addition to this, the office has been awarded ÖGNI Cristall certification for its particularly high level of social sustainability and the quality of its design. “The integration of our employees from the very beginning of the design process and the effective use of our in-house expertise and resources played a key role in the certification and can be clearly seen in the excellent outcome,” says a delighted Michael Haugeneder, Managing Director of ATP sustain in Vienna. Concept: socially and economically sustainable In order to achieve a maximum of spatial flexibility, the design team from ATP sustain minimized the quantity of rigid internal walls. A range of material and color concepts enabled them to develop a “central thread” that runs through the entire office design. For example, the acoustically impressive curtains, which also act as flexible partitions, match the carpeted floors and the perforated acoustic ceilings. The spatial program offers room for a range of social interactions and creativity. Employees can use a generous social space and a kitchen for getting together, or a “creative corner” as an additional space for creative work. A playing corner and diaper-changing station express the family-friendly nature of the workplace.
