Yesterday, the second component of the Technology Centre (tz2) was opened in Aspern, Vienna's lakeside city and the largest urban development area in Europe. Integrally designed by ATP, the building offers space for the future. "Global players", start-ups and "hidden champions" will work here door to door in the future.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the new facility of the system supplier and global market leader for building services technology marked the start of construction of a building that will become a reference project in many ways: The building on Austria’s idyllic Attersee, which has been integrally designed with BIM by ATP Vienna and ATP sustain, has a particularly impressive economic footprint: The new-build project received a record number of points according to the requirements of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) and has already been presented a “platinum” pre-certificate. The concept for the interactive Viega seminar center also breaks new ground and redefines the existing standards for training centers.

ATP Innsbruck designs a modern CLT production facility
A lot of earth is currently on the move in Drautal in Upper Carinthia. The East Tyrolean timber producer Theurl is building a state-of-the-art factory for cross-laminated timber elements on a site of around 12.5 hectares. Following its final completion in 2021, Theurl’s third factory will be able to produce around 100,000 m³ cross-laminated timber for the trans-regional market.
Topping-out ceremony for Terminal 2 at Berlin Brandenburg Airport
A key intermediate objective has been reached: The shell-and-core of Terminal 2 of Berlin Brandenburg Airport has been completed. It will be possible to process up to six million passengers a year here from October 2020, at which point BER Airport should also be opened.
