The ATP consulting subsidiary redserve is strengthening its presence in Germany and opened its fourth office in the DACH Region in early March. redserve Munich is led by the  economist and specialist for strategic corporate development Torben Semmler.

His core competences include the coordination of design and strategic development processes and design and construction management. Regarding these areas, Torben Semmler is convinced that: “Good, functioning communication between clients, architects, and project managers is the key to the success of major projects.”

Educated at the International School of Management (ISM) and Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, Torben Semmler has many years of experience of strategic real estate development with large German and international companies and municipalities. Upon completing his economics studies, he worked in the area of strategic corporate development with Deutsche Luftrettung AG. This was followed by experience with a series of Frankfurt architecture offices, including eleven years with Architekturbüro Göllner GmbH, where, as Managing Partner, he was ultimately responsible for such areas as expert reports, real estate evaluation and development, and advising companies about the strategic realignment of their real estate portfolios. In his most recent function as Director Project & Development Germany at JLL-Jones Lang LaSalle, Torben Semmler made a major contribution to the growth of this division of the company before he moved, this year, to the ATP Group.

Torben Semmler has already been able to apply his comprehensive know-how to a large number of projects, always in line with the motto: “There’s no contradiction between excellent architecture and economically sustainable buildings.” His references include a range of projects for major banks in Germany, the strategic realignment of the real estate portfolios of a large number of DAX companies in locations such as Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Munich, and the project leadership of several communal infrastructure projects.

The ATP subsidiary for real estate development consulting has been present in Austria, Southern Germany, and the CEE Region since 2004. It accompanies clients through all phases of a project, enabling them to make well-founded decisions: the project decision in the analysis phase, the investment decision in the concept phase, and the construction decision in the design phase. Clients supported by redserve enjoy certainty regarding costs, commercialization, and approvals throughout these project phases. Since June 2020, redserve has been setting new standards for design and construction management in the integrated design and construction of real estate projects.
