The strategic partnership with the Zurich-based engineering company HGPC complements the integrated design process.

The Zurich office of ATP architects engineers has teamed up with a leading specialist engineering partner for the design of complex building services: Hochstrasser Glaus & Partner Consulting AG (HGPC). Matthias Wehrle, Managing Director of ATP Zurich, is delighted to welcome his 15 new colleagues and is looking forward to working together with them: “We’re convinced that – guided by ATP’s core value of integrated cooperation – both companies will benefit from the partnership and inspire each other to be even better!”

As an exclusive integrated design partner of ATP Zurich, HGPC will increase its capacity by expanding its current activities while retaining its independence. In addition to this, it is planned to add the areas of sanitary engineering and expert coordination to the scope of services offered by HGPC as part of the collaboration with ATP Zurich. “By combining the energies of HGPC and ATP, we will be able to optimally implement major BIM projects in line with the wishes of our clients. I’m looking forward to the next few, extremely exciting years,” says Peter Glaus, Managing Director of HGPC.
The well-known Zurich-based engineering company specializes in the integrated planning of complex HVAC/Building Automation plant
, from expert reports and conceptual and energy studies via project and execution design to construction management. Recently completed projects include the new SUED2 Building of University Hospital Zurich. The new medical cleanroom center for the treatment of burns patients and stem cell therapy contains over 170 different cleanrooms with ISO classifications between ISO 5 and ISO 8. And a further major project that was successfully handed over to the client this year is Phase 5 of the laboratory building of the University of Zurich, Irchel Campus. This new building is operated by the Institute for Chemistry and contains not only research and teaching laboratories but also the high pressure and nuclear magnetic resonance laboratories. The energy-optimized building services designed by HGPC for the Irchel Campus, which took first prize in the tender process organized by the Building Directorate of the Canton of Zurich was praised by the jury for its outstanding functionality. The next major project is the construction of the new building for Clinic 3 – a tumor center with laboratory tower and nephrology department – of the University of Basel, which is scheduled to start in January 2022.

The collaboration with HGPC will enable ATP Zurich to offer the clients of its integrated HVAC/sanitary/building automation planning and coordination services even higher quality and an even broader range of expertise in the field of sustainability.
