A building services course with excellent perspectives
The starter’s pistol has been fired for applications to Tyrol’s first dual study program. From autumn 2021, MCI Innsbruck’s bachelor course “Smart Building Technologies” will offer an integrative combination of study and work. Each of the six semesters is divided into a period of study and a practice block of several months in an innovative partner company such as ATP.
ATP TLP Moskau gewinnt den „BIM Technologies“-Preis
Every year, the Russian Construction Ministry organizes the open “BIM Technologies” competition with the aim of identifying the best BIM specialists and making these known across Russia. Over 100 projects were submitted to this year’s competition, of which 25 made the shortlist and seven received awards.
ATP TLP Moscow has two reasons to celebrate. ATP’s Russian office was the winner in the category “Information Modeling for Industry Buildings” for the Miratorg production facility in Kursk and was also awarded second place in the category “Digital Modeling in Revitalization” for the MEGA Belaya Dacha Family Shopping Center. The professional jury particularly emphasized the interdisciplinary and inter-office cooperation in the ATP-network.
The arrival of the building services expert establishes the principle of the management duo.
The German building services expert, Jörg Balow, is strengthening the top management team of ATP architects engineers Berlin. Together with the architect Niklas Veelken he has been leading the ATP integrated design office and its international team of 20 employees since July 2020. This means that ATP’s special integrated design culture is now also reflected by the management duo in its Berlin office.
Opening of Terminal 2 at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport
Terminal 2 at BER Airport is already “ready for take-off” and can open together with the main terminal T1 at the end of October. The additional terminal was conceived and planned in record time by the planner team ATP/amd.sigma strategic airport development. Just 38 months elapsed between the “first design sketch” and the “operational handover”. This means that the turnkey delivery of T2 took place “in time”, despite the complicated process, the late emergence of additional customer requirements, and a tight timetable. This makes it the fastest-built terminal project in German history.
„Architektonisches Kapital“ für Bankenzentrum
“Sberbank”, Russia’s strongest financial institution, plans to bring together its 40 offices, which are spread right across Moscow, in a single, state-of-the-art headquarters. More than 30,000 employees will find a unique “ecosystem” in the complex in the city’s dynamic financial district. ATP TLP Moscow has been commissioned to design this futuristic giga-project –integrally and digitally with the help of BIM.
