This year, ATP is once again one of the winners of an ICONIC AWARD. The award in the “INTERIOR” category of the prestigious prize for visionary buildings has gone to the HOFER ALPHA Retail Network innovation center.
Award ceremony: 7th October in Munich’s Pinakothek der Moderne.

“The process of transformation of the vacant industrial hall into an open office landscape has already received extensive recognition for its ecological qualities. We are particularly delighted to receive the ICONIC AWARD because this shows that innovative architecture and sustainable building can complement each other perfectly”, said a delighted ATP project leader, the architect Lilo Dellantonio.

“HOFER ALPHA Retail Network”

The new 23,000 m² hall for innovation embodies the realization by the retail giant HOFER of its initiative for the future, the “ALPHA Retail Network”: The project created an unconventional working space in which creative ideas can unfold and new forms of cooperation emerge. In line with the principle of “activity-based working” HOFER employees, start-ups, and students of the Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences can choose the most suitable workspace for a particular task or activity from a range of working environments.

In its role as integrated designer ATP accompanied this project through every design phase and was also responsible for the color and material concept, the furnishing, and the site supervision.

The ICONIC AWARD honors visionary buildings, innovative products, and sustainable communication from all parts of the architectural, construction, and real estate sectors and manufacturing industry. It focuses upon the holistic presentation of a project and the cooperation between trades and professions in the architectural context. ATP is already the proud recipient of two earlier “icons” (2018: Holzgau Educational Center, 2013: G3 Shopping Resort Gerasdorf).
