ATP wins the ICONIC AWARD for innovative architecture for the shopping center ALEJA.
ATP architects engineers has won an ICONIC AWARD for innovative architecture for the fifth time. This year, the prestigious prize has gone to the ALEJA Shopping Center in Ljubljana. “We are particularly delighted to have won this prize. Because it shows that experience-oriented retail architecture and highly-efficient, sustainable building methods complement each other perfectly,” says ATP Lead Project Manager Philipp Pfister.
Joining forces against the waste of resources and for a circular economy

The shopping center ALEJA designed by ATP has been shortlisted for the well-known retail prize.
Modern, unique architecture, a particularly high level of sustainability and an extraordinary shopping and leisure offering were the qualities identified by an international expert jury in the ALEJA Shopping Center in Ljubljana (Slovenia), which was integrally designed by ATP Innsbruck. The district center, which opened in 2020, is one of four projects nominated for the Global RLI Award 2021 in the category “International Shopping Centre – New Build”.
ATP is supporting a joint project for child refugees on the Greek island of Samos.
We minimize waste, says ATP’s Mission Statement. And is there a better way of minimizing waste then by finding a positive new use for “surplus” items? Such a new use underlies the company-wide joint project “ATP Creative Crate”, which is supporting the engagement of Refugee 4 Refugees (R4R) in Greek refugee camps.
