Refurbishment and modernisation of a listed department store in Rostock, Germany
As “Rostock’s most beautiful department store,” the historic early 20th-century villa is well known beyond the borders of the city. After remaining vacant for many years, plans were drawn up to return the building to its former glory and to offer an attractive shopping experience. ATP architects engineers breathed new life into the department store with the help of a sensitive conservation concept and a certain amount of flair.
Commission for the new building in Albbruck
Pooling hospital building expertise for a successful outcome: VAMED Germany and its design partners ATP architects engineers and Baumschlager Eberle Architekten have been commissioned by the District of Waldshut with the general planning of the new Zentralklinikum Hochrhein. The exemplary hospital building with around 360 beds should be completed in Albbruck by 2029 – as the centerpiece of the health park of the same name that is being realized simultaneously as a separate project.
New centerpiece for Rostock University Medical Center
The hospital building experts of ATP architects engineers, Nuremberg have designed a new centerpiece for Rostock University Medical Center, which is represented by the project clients, the Staatliche Bau- und Liegenschaftsamt Rostock. The building is functionally integrated into the existing complex in such a way that the fastest possible patient care is guaranteed.
Tobias Schwarz named as Managing Director / Architecture
The Managing Director of ATP Nuremberg Andreas Rieser has invited the architect Tobias Schwarz to join him in the top management team.
In order to save resources for the future and reduce waste in hospital building, ATP architects engineers makes the case for recycling and re-use friendly design with BIM.
"Health sector buildings are regarded as a special category of buildings because they put the common good at the heart of their core processes", explained Professor Christoph M. Achammer, CEO of ATP, during the expert discussion at the Open Day in Nuremberg.
