At the beginning of April 2023 around 120 specialist employees of OBERMEYER Gebäudeplanung moved to the ATP Group. With its new name ITA engineering, the innovative and implementation-oriented building services company is reinforcing its market presence in Munich and Wiesbaden and can now offer forward-looking building services design in all construction sectors.
ITA stands for integrated building services. The experienced team from ITA engineering work as autonomous building services planners as they cooperate agilely with the expert integrated design network of ATP architects engineers, where over 1,200 new colleagues in the DACH and CEE Regions intensively address the area of sustainable construction. ATP is a European leader in the use of integrated digital design with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and No. 1 in Western Europe in terms of market volume.
“We’re delighted that we’re now able to serve our clients as part of the ATP Group and, hence, do two things at the same time: work rapidly alone as ITA engineering and explore new horizons together with our colleagues from ATP,” says the Managing Director, the engineer Andreas Mühlbacher, describing the role of the building services office in the corporate structure of ATP.
The architect Anne-Kristin Volz, who runs the business alongside Andreas Mühlbacher, sees the cooperation with ATP as a huge opportunity for ITA engineering: “Today’s energy and climate challenges demand innovative building concepts. We’re looking forward to becoming a key component in the ATP Group thanks to our technical knowhow. We want to design and realize sustainable buildings alongside the integrated teams.”
The almost 200 projects in the portfolio of ITA engineering include local Munich landmarks (such as the entire Olympic site), largely complex and technically challenging specialist or integrated design projects for public and private clients in the building services sector, and building, structural design, and infrastructure contracts. Besides offering specialist mechanical, electrical, and ICT services, ITA engineering also covers the areas of building automation, fire extinguishing, and conveyor technology. In addition to this, the office offers a wide range of expert witness, consultancy, and certification services (ESG, DGNB, LEED, WELL, SmartScore/WireScore).
ATP architects engineers
The interdisciplinary cooperation between architecture and engineering and state-of-the-art knowledge management have enabled ATP to become Europe’s leading integrated design office. More than 1,200 employees in its current twelve offices in the DACH+CEE Regions design for clients from the research & industrial, retail, real estate, and health sectors, with the support of ATP’s own in-house research, specialist design, and consulting companies. Since 2012, ATP has exclusively designed digitally with BIM. In doing so, it uses the corporate structure of the group to permanently grow as a learning organization. In order to fulfill the responsibility of the building industry to future generations, the integrated design company has drawn up the ATP Green Deal, as confirmation of its complete commitment to climate-neutral and sustainable designing and building. www.atp.ag
