As part of a sustainable succession solution, Hemmi Fayet Architekten AG has found the right partner in ATP architects engineers. ATP is taking over the experienced Swiss hospital design office in a deal that retroactively came into effect on 1st January 2023. Around 30 employees will switch to ATP Zurich at the beginning of 2024.
“We are delighted that this merger with ATP architects engineers will enable us to combine our hospital expertise with the integrated design skills of ATP and to develop further on the basis of our shared values,” says the architect Petra Hemmi, cofounder of Hemmi Fayet Architekten AG, explaining the advantages of the integration.
Since being founded in 1995, Hemmi Fayet Architekten AG has established itself as a respected architectural office in Zurich – with special expertise in the health sector and additional focuses in the office, housing, and interior design sectors. Particularly notable projects include the “Neubau Süd 2” of University Hospital in Zurich, the refurbishment and restructuring of the Schweizer Paraplegiker-Stiftung Nottwil and the listed-building refurbishment of the Kino Razzia and replacement of the Villa Mainau in Zurich.
“The integration of Hemmi Fayet Architekten AG will create significant synergies across the ATP network. In Zurich, the networking between the two design offices is already intense,” explains the architect Matthias Wehrle, Managing Director of ATP Zurich.
Sustainability and interdisciplinary cooperation are important common denominators for both Hemmi Fayet Architekten AG and ATP in the integrated design of every project. In this way, the ambitious approach of Hemmi Fayet Architekten AG will be retained. Ongoing projects will also continue to be managed by Hemmi Fayet Architekten AG during the organizational and structural phase of the merger.
Hemmi Fayet Architekten AG. The office founded by Serge Fayet and Petra Hemmi accompanies every project from design to execution in the role of general planner. Its approach is based on holistic thinking in the broadest sense: It addresses technical, functional, and design issues with the same intensity as economic, ecological, and social aspects in order to find the best solution. The office focuses on understanding the big picture as a means of guaranteeing such criteria as sustainability and cost certainty. As experts for complex buildings, the office also produces expert reports, accompanies projects through difficult phases, and is represented in professional bodies and juries. https://www.hemmifayet.ch/
