ATP supports the follow-up event to the Concrete Student Trophy with a focus on sustainability: “ISDEC2030”

This year sees the first edition of the “Interdisciplinary Student Design & Engineering Challenge” – “ISDEC2030” for short. ‘2030’, because the student competition is aligned with the UN development objectives for 2030, which include sustainable cities and communities. Hence, resource-friendly, low-energy, and recycling-oriented are the keywords upon which the conception, design, and construction of the entered projects should focus.

Lean, Green, & BIM for Hospital Buildings or "The Road to ZERO"

In order to save resources for the future and reduce waste in hospital building, ATP architects engineers makes the case for recycling and re-use friendly design with BIM.

"Health sector buildings are regarded as a special category of buildings because they put the common good at the heart of their core processes", explained Professor Christoph M. Achammer, CEO of ATP, during the expert discussion at the Open Day in Nuremberg.

ATP Puts the Focus on Hospital Buildings

The Nuremberg office of ATP architects engineers has developed into a “Competence Center for the Health Sector”. Projects are integrally designed with BIM.

As a pure architectural office and one of the youngest members of the ATP Group, the initial challenge facing ATP Nuremberg was complex. But within just a few years the now 40-strong team led by Managing Director Andreas Rieser has transformed the hospital planners Haid & Partner GmbH, which it took over in 2018, into a fully-fledged ATP office that offers a complete range of design services.

An urban interpretation with an attractive working environment

The headquarters of the CURA COSMETICS GROUP on the edge of Innsbruck bring together all the operating facilities that were previously located elsewhere in an integrally designed competence center. This includes two office and one logistics buildings and a “base” building for the packaging of goods. Compact functional areas and short distances perfect these operational processes.
